Description

This object is an open star cluster located 3300 light years away in the constellation of Lacerta at a declination of +46 degrees. The 7.7 magnitude cluster of 50 stars spans 15 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 14 light years.

This cluster has many stars and at some point, for the dimmer cluster stars, it begins to get difficult to differentiate them from the dense Milky Way background. The bright orange star to the right is not a member of the cluster.
