Description

Simeis 147 is a supernova remnant in the vonstellation in the constellations Taurus and Auriga. It is believed to be about 40000 years old. The diameter is about 3000 ly and it covers 3° of our sky which is 6 x more than the moon.

The images was made with a vintage Zeiss Sonnar 2.8/180 mm lens and an ASI1600mmp
