Description

This is the Centaurus A galaxy (NGC5128) that I captured over many nights in March 2020 in my backyard in the Central Victorian Highlands, Victoria, Australia. It's a good fun and rewarding object for all experience levels. It is bright, yet there are subtle, faint features that can only be revealed with more data. My goals for this object were to reveal the whole dust lane that extends well into the galaxy's halo. This needed a lot of data by my standards. With more data I might be able reveal the out shell structures that extend beyond the halo.

I've been putting off getting the processing done but all this time at home has left me with no excuses.
