Description

RASA8 project hit a pause. The Chroma 5nm filters do not suit for F2.0 system at all. Now going back to the Astronomik 12nm filters as the F2.0 system narrowband solution. Waiting for ordering from Astronomik once confirmed.

Too much fun to image within 30 degrees of the bright moon. And of course, as poor as the SNR could be - especially the O3 channel. To my surprise, even Ha master got strong gradient because of the moon. Never did DBE for Ha master before. 🤣

But, lots of fun this time in color blending - with PixelMath boosting the super low SNR O3 channel. No Photoshop color match-making this time. Except the export, all done in PixInsight.
