Description

Hello Friends,

yet another target from my current series "rarely imaged objects" I am currently working on: SH1-89, which is a bi-polar PN.

This is also a very nicely structured PN showing a lot of details. There are only half a dozen images on AB of it. I have tried to show the structure of the shock waves by using the Ha as Lum, which I have not seen with the other images so clearly. They re more or less removed by de noising. Actually I was surprised an was very skeptical because it looks over processed, but this structure is very clearly visible and dominant in the Ha stack. No LocalHistogramEqualization was applied at all.
Also very interesting the huge spike shooting out of the nebula consisting of very fast gas.

I hope you like this rare object

Please enjoy!
Rüdiger
