Description

I started the night with the Croc's Eye Galaxy. After it got too far past the meridian and didn't want to hassle with a flip, I was ready to do some darks and go to bed. I made the mistake of looking to see if there were any other targets to capture (It was only 1:30am). I saw the ring Nebula. I had photographed that a year ago with my unguided (short exposures) cheap setup, and stock camera. So I set my software to take 50 - 2 min exposures. Needless to say, I finished up my darks right at sunrise and couldn't wait to process the pictures. I guess sleep deprivation is a casualty of backyard astronomy.
