Description

While circumnavigating the world, Magellan was the first european to witness and register the observation of, known to this day as the "Large Magellanic Cloud". Interacting with the SMC and the Milky Way itself, and holding one of the brightest nebulae in the entire universe - the Tarantula Nebula - to put things in perspective, if it was as close to earth as the Orion nebula is, it would cast shadows and occupy a 40º angle in the night sky.

This project came out nicely, with only ~40 minutes per panel, and it's probably one of the best I have done to this date. Taken during two clear nights, just as the "waters of march" were closing the summer, as Elis Regina says
