Description

This is the first image taken with my new QHY268M. Attaching it to the Epsilon-130 required some guessing to reach proper backfocus, which I didn't with the first try. Not only the distance was a bit off, but I also had lost my collimation.
Unfortunately, the night was quite humid (at 99% according to my Pegasus Powerbox), so when I looked into the tube after the session to check for any dew I found a white plastic strip coming out of the focuser draw tube and hanging right into the OTA! Obviously, this strip is used to improve the focuser movements but it was only fixed on one side. Luckily I was able to put it back where it was, after disassembling most of the focuser the next day...
Anyway, I cropped the image to get rid of some bad corner stars and could also improve the framing a bit. Adding Ha was a bit tricky as the core was pretty bright, but I think the HII-regions come out pretty well.
