Description

Hi everyone,

I wish you all a merry Christmas with this newest image of mine. The heart nebula may be a often photographed object but nevertheless I managed to take a new spin on it. Over the last 6 months I experimented again and again to have a narrowband image in the style of colors and hues that you may otherwise only know from LRGB style imaging. I wanted to do something different than SHO and this is now the first result I'm posting.

As you can imagine I really do like the magenta / blue colors in LRGB and I'm really happy I finally found a way to reproduce this. Along the way there were many failures and many learnings, but I think now I got the basic color theory down so that I could produce this.

It's still lacking stars, but I will need to continue that part of editing at a later point.

Thanks for stopping by and having a look at this Now I just need to figure out a name for that style of color editing.
