Description

During the last Summer, in August in particular, I spent some amazing nights under a very dark sky (SQM 21.7) at 2000 m altitude, in the Dolomites. I decided to capture the luminance of this very nice group of galaxies but the result after the processing was quite disappointing. It was one of the first pictures of deep sky I produced and I though that bad results were due to the chrominance that was obtained from my light polluted sky. I recently looked at that picture and I recognized I made some mistakes in almost every aspect of the postprocessing so I decided to reprocess it considering in the mean time I learned some more concepts, so I think this result is much better than the previous one. I also have to say that in this case, deconvolution with parametric PSF worked much better that the external PSF in enhancing the details around the nucleus of the galaxy.
I hope you like it.
