Description

Here we have M 105 and its neighbors, NGC 3384 and NGC 3389. I find this to be a very beautiful trio. M105 and NGC 3384 are part of the Leo 1 group while the spiral galaxy, NGC 3389 is thought to be somewhat further away and in the background. M 105 and NGC3384 are surrounded by a neutral hydrogen ring with a radius of about 650,000 light years. Star forming activity is thought to be occurring within the ring. -- information obtained from Messier-objects.com

On this image, I tried to do a HDR approach to the luminance to see if it would enhance the elliptical galaxies at all. I don't think it did but it was still an interesting thing to try.

I'm still fighting with my stars and I think my problems may stem from a slight miscollimation. Using the simple airy disk method, everything looks perfect. So I will try Metaguide collimation routine to see if that helps.

Anyway, I hope you like my effort with this one... Clear Skies and be well !!
