Description

What??? What is "and a half"??? :o)

The "and a half" is that little galaxy in the upper right corner, NGC3593 ;-)

This current season is not exactly the best for larger objects that would fill my Hypergraph's FOV. And the few ones that do, have been caught (or missed due to weather).... Even worse, the Moon was also present...

So, what is bright enough to win against the Moon and large enough to not get lost in the image? Difficult........

Fortunately, this triplet came to my mind and I chose it to be the act of the night (although the triplet would fit 10 times in the height of the FF-sensor of the Eos...).

Therefore, this is a 55% crop of the full field so, one wouldn't have to zoom-in for lightyears before finally seeing something. Still, you need to zoom-in ;-)

Surprisingly the faint and far outreaching trail of NGC3628 became visible after only 2 hours of exposure time (and offered me a hard time in pixel-kung-fu - lol), didn't expect this!

Enjoy the rich field with its multitude of galaxies in the background ;-)
