Description

This object is a dark nebula located in the constellation of Cygnus at a declination of +40 degrees. Like most dark nebula, not much has been written on this object and I could not find its distance from us.

The dark nebula is located in the IC 1318 nebula complex around Sadr, on the eastern wing of the Butterfly Nebula. It can be seen in the lower left quadrant of this image, a wider FOV of this area that I posted 2 years ago.

The pretty blue reflection nebula GN 20.25.3 is seen towards the upper right corner of this image.
