Description

NGC 6791 is a star cluster in Lyra. He is in a distance of 13.300 Lj. This cluster is one of the oldest clusters known to date. Estimated age 8 Billion years.

The size of the cluster is about 16 arcmin.

Interesting is the deep red star on the right side!
