I'm really trying to keep some consistency in my color palettes! It's tough when you don't have an actual canned formula. I've been adding each channel manually via pixelmath for these images. And everyone is just a little different! Sharpless 119 is extremely weak in Oiii data, so the challenge to match my image up with the same palette used in

Anyways. While sharing around my images of processing this target, I got often asked "Where is this target?!" Most people don't realize it's right next to North American Nebula, one of the most photographed targets in the northern hemisphere. Sharpless 119 is often overlooked, I can't imagine why. Maybe because it's too big for most frames. Even this image, a 2 panel mosaic, is still a bit tight at 550mm. An extremely dynamic area.... I love it. I'm disappointed I didn't shoot it sooner.
