Description

M29, another glorious open cluster, sitting in the middle of Cygnus just "south" of Sadr. As it sits in the middle of the milkyway an obvious target would be the gas surrounding it, this was just another collimation test however.

Prior to moving house I had collected this data after making another change to my RC and now have found the time to process the data and see the results. Not bad compared to what I was getting before, some tweeks still need to occur but moving in the right direction.

For those of you who do not own an observatory, my goodness, I miss mine. I feel like a cave man with no tech. Having to drag everything out, set up, polar align etc etc and then after the session tear it down again............... well its a luxury I do miss. A new observatory is hot on my agenda once we have completed the major renovations to the house. I have started imaging again and its nice to be under the night sky
