Description

I am continuing on in isolating certain regions within M33. Again, like my previous NGC 604 image, the data consists mainly of Ha and OIII with the addition of RGB stars. I drizzled the data like before, so you will notice my normal image scale of 0.68"/pixel being cut in half. I am still isolating certain regions within M33, so there will be more to come.

IC 132 I found to be very fascinating. In combining the data, the OIII overwhelmed the Ha in my usual way I produce a HOO palette. IC 132 is an emission nebula. There is very little on it on the internet, but did some digging. It is thought to have a wolf-rayed type object in it's core. If the object is a single star, the data are consistent with the central source of IC 132 having a temperature of 40000 ± 5000 K and MBol = -11.6. This would make it the brightest star in the galaxy M33, with a mass larger than lOOMsun.
