Description

Asteroid Iris at opposition. Minor planet designation 7 Iris. Main belt asteroid discovered by J. R. Hind in 1847, The number 7 because it was the 7th asteroid to be discovered.

The jump in animation is due to 2 sessions of capture. Moon was pretty close to the target. Processed in PixInsight
