Description

M2, a.k.a NGC 7089 a globular cluster  ~55,000 light years away and ~175 light years across in Aquarius. It is one of the oldest globular clusters in our milky way ~12.5 billion years old, and is part of Gaia sausage, the remains of a white dwarf galaxy our milky way merged with.

LRGB 5h 25m (15:18:15:17x300s) CHI-1 Telescope, a Planewave CDK24 with QHY600M camera, and Astrodon 2nd GEN LRGB, situated in the Rio Hurtado Valley, Chile. Part of the telescope.live telescope network. Taken on multiple dates May-June 2023.
