This is my 4th picture of my Messier catalog, and there's no need to make a detailed presentation of this target
.
That's the first time I can get a really decent result with the Orion nebula.
The winter sky was mostly bad here in France, and I had to watch for the slightest chance of clear skies to make this image.
The processing was quite difficult, but I think I managed to get a balance and natural rendering here to my taste, and the dynamic of M42's core is quite well preserved, thanks to the short exposures.
On the bad side, the stars are quite diffuse due to high passing clouds.
Anyway I like it, and I'm very pleased to share it here.
