Description

The Owl Nebula (M97 or NGC 3587) is a planetary nebula approximately 2,030 light years away in the northern constellation Ursa Major.

It is imaged here with the 14" backyard RC of the Calvados observatory.

Luminance : Moravian G2-4000, 30x600s + 35x300s
Color : Zwo ASI 294 MC Pro, 24x300s

The halo was very faint with the ASI 294. Its color has been assumed to be OIII.
