Description

M12 a.k.a NGC 6218, a globular cluster ~17000 light years away and ~32 light years across in Ophiuchus. Contains ~2,00,00 stars mostly low-mass due loosing ~1 million stars to our galaxy.

LRGB 5h 55m (17:18:15:21x300s) from CHI-1 Telescope, a Planewave CDK24 with QHY600M camera, and Astrodon 2nd GEN LRGB filters, situated in the Rio Hurtado Valley, Chile. Part of the telescope.live telescope network. Taken on 15,16,18  May 2023.
