Description

Sh2-155 (Sharpless 155) / Caldwell 9 / LBN 529.
The Cave Nebula.

Due to the bright moon i switched the view from south to north and screwed the l-extreme filter into the image train to get decent data.
This H-II and star forming region is located in the constellation cepheus. The distance from our sun is approx. 2400 ly with a diameter of 70 ly and 10 ly in depth.

I tried not to push the image processing too far, so that the "trapezium" is still clearly visible.
