Description

=_aacl _aaco _aacu _aacx _aad7 _aadeOne of the most interesting targets I have captured and a real pain to process...
The region includes a blue reflection nebula known as VDB152 at the tip of the long dark nebula known as LDN1217. It's also rich in faint Hydrogen gas (captured separately with a duoband filter), a small portion of which is shown here - this is part of a very large nearby supernova remnant SNR 110.3+11.3 - you can see this in images with bigger fields.
Last but not least there is also planetary nebula PN G111.0+11.6 at the bottom right of the image.

''Fun'' fact - Lost nearly 6 hours worth of OSC data due to a disk failure..

Clear skies all!
