Description

At first glance these two galaxies seem to be in apparent contact but there is no evidence of tidal distortion, suggesting that these galaxies may be well separated from each other. Both galaxies feature a small core and multiple spiral arms fragments. These galaxies were discovered by William Herschel on 15 March 1786. Their distance is estimated to 99 Mly.
