M42 and the Running Man NGC 1977 or Sh2-279
My first attempt at this object despite it being one of brightest in the Northern Hemisphere.
Imaging M42 is famous for being difficult to get the balance of the core and the outer nebula balanced with detail of both.
well the Trapezium is there if only just.
