Description

I observed this object on 24 September 2015 at the Okie-Tex Party using a 12” Skywatcher Dobsonian. I obtained the calibrated lights frames used to create the final image from Telescope Live. The frames were imaged by the CHI-1-CCD Telescope at the El Sauce Observatory in Chile.

This globular cluster has uniform brightness from edge to center. No discernible core. Some stars resolved near edge.

Type: Hub Globular
Position w.r.t. core of galaxy: Almost directly below the core of the MY.
