Here was my attempt at processing this wonderful region with the great data set provided by
@chilescope as part of their contest.
Many beautiful objects in the field, like Ced110 and Ced111 reflection nebulae, HH49 and HH50 Herbig-Haro objects, all of them within the beautiful star forming region CHA-I molecular cloud.
That was a challenging and very interesting processing, especially the color calibration with a carefully background extraction on each layer (blue layer was the most hard to calibrate out well because of strong gradient and reflections), the attempt to bring out details in the brown dust structures without pushing it too hard (left up corner and right part of the picture especially), keeping it natural and in coherence with the different objects and the whole field while bringing nice colours and details, enhancing dark structures while keeping details inside it, etc...
Processing was done with Pixinsight and Photoshop without AI sharpening.
