Raúl Hussein:
Tom Boyd: Hi Raúl,
I generate a different error attempting two download the script. While PI recognizes the URL and you as developer, when it attempts to download I generate the following error:
Are you using MAC? A friend had the same problem and the solution was to check the URL. Needs a / at the end
https://dbxtract.astrocitas.com/ Yep, I do use a MAC. Extra / at the end of the URL took care of the issue. Thank you !-)

I was able to get closed captioning in English for the Youtube video but found things a bit too complicated for me. Since this is pretty new I was unable to find anything else that I could use. Hopefully there will be something out soon that I will be able to use. It all seems pretty exciting

Al Hi Allen. Maybe this other video will help you. Is a conference at the Valencian Astronomy Association (AVA) with a somewhat different content (spanish version too) https://youtu.be/GE8i4epIyVA?si=94NNRBu1Pp3gZsn- |

Malcolm Wow, you are the second person to ask me to add the Hb band. Right now you couldn't use it exactly, but let me incorporate it in future versions. Tbanks Malcolm

Raul, that script is fantastic. It makes a rather repetitive process so so easy and the end result is super. Thanks for taking the time and effort. I just used it on the fighting dragons that I have been working on with an Altair 6nm Sii/Oiii and L-Ultimate Ha/Oiii filter. The results are better than I was getting with my manual extractions and combinations. |

Thanks Gilmour for sharing. It makes me very happy that you found it useful and gave you good results. I'm still working on improvements that I hope to be able to offer you next week.

Increhíble trabajo Raúl, gracias por este regalo para todos. No soy informático, pero me queda claro que detrás de este script hay cientos de horas de trabajo.
Incredible work Raúl, thank you for this gift to everyone. I'm not a computer scientist, but it's clear to me that there are hundreds of hours of work behind this script.

Leonardo, Great work, but did you take this post's corrections into account: https://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?threads/narrow-band-w-osc-cameras.19075/#post-115791In it he points out the error in Deep Sky Geek's math that leads to his need to "tweak" the ratios.

In it he points out the error in Deep Sky Geek's math that leads to his need to "tweak" the ratios. Thanks a lot John. Im working on it right now. I came to similar conclusions after some tests, in particular with M42 and B33 the results are not good. Your work helps me much. Thanks again

Dear Raúl, Thank you for this amazing script! I just used it to process this image of the Elephant Trunk, shot with the Askar Color Magic C1 (Ha/Oiii) and C2 (Sii/Oiii) filters. I'm very happy with the results and I'm sure the tool will just keep getting better. One question: is it possible to include SHO pixelmath expressions that use the Foraxx Dynamic NB Combination method? Sorry if this question is redundant or if I'm misunderstanding anything. Thank you once again for this wonderful new tool! |

Thank you once again for this wonderful new tool! Hi William, thanks a lot. From the emission bands, you can compose the Foraxx palette with other scripts. I developed one myself a long time ago and I will tell you about it shortly. Of course, there are other scripts that do a great job, but mine uses PIP (Power of Inverted Pixel) method that mitigates sudden gradient changes. Take a look https://autopalette.astrocitas.com/ |

Raúl Hussein: Thanks a lot John. Im working on it right now. I came to similar conclusions after some tests, in particular with M42 and B33 the results are not good. Your work helps me much. Thanks again Raúl, Were you able to incorporate this update in your script? Is it available via PixInsight update? I just checked the source code of the script and I don't think I'm seeing this math in there. John.

This is really impressive. Opens up a lot of options for OSC imagers. Even if its not perfect, it still seems to give better channel data than simply separating R, G and B and trying to recombine them as narrow band channels.
