As for me. I'm new to AP.
I image mostly from the light polluted backyard. I'm trying to get out to dark site more often.

Tim Hi Tim,
Yes, infact as my name suggests we are neighbors!! I am in Sping, TX. Creekside village of the Woodlands to be precise. Glad that there is someone close with the same interest!
I am new to astrophotography and had never visited a dark site. Interestingly enough i am in Big Bend this week. Its ironic, but it would seem like astrophotography would get boring if I lived here . Its one of the places you would love to visit but not stay.
I can take as long a sub on lum filter as I want. Back in the woodlands more than 180 sec is pushing it. Will post some pictures soon.
