The North America (left) and Pelican Nebulas (upper right) are emission nebulas approximately 1,600 light years from Earth. Between these nebulas is a vast cloud of Oxygen (blue) that backlights a dark molecular cloud in the center of the frame. I'm particularly fond of the dark filaments of the molecular cloud and I'll likely revisit this target in the future to pull out more detail in the sea of dust.
This is my first image posted to AstroBin with many more to come! This was also my first light with the ZWO ASI2600MM Pro monochrome camera. The quality of the data captured exceeded my expectations considering I only managed three hours of integration time on target.
