Description

Back to the deep sky targets after the wonderful total eclipse 😊.

This is the first of several of Messier objects to empty out my bucket list 😊. This is a highly cropped image since for some reason I had a double entry in my plate solve list, and they did not align 100%. I kept going with the 2 minutes for RGB filters and 5 minutes of Lum, which I believe was the reason that the image shows some dust lanes which I was never able to capture before. It is though really hard to say if those are real, might be an artifact of light pollution (although, it would be a very weird one).

M91 is a new member, while M88 is an updated version, the previous image of M88 was taken in 2018 and was just Lum, and also pretty poor, hence I am glad that I could show a better image.

A bunch of other galaxies are visible in this area as well, love those little IC ones!
