Decided to finally make a paid account here, I feel like my images are finally getting decent enough to be worth it.

This is the Tadpoles in SHO, with a OSC camera (asi2600mc)

5.5 hours each filter for the Tadpoles
2.5 hours each filter for the Christmas Tree Cluster

50 each flats, flat darks, and darks
Gain 100, offset 18, -10c

Same workflow for each image

Equipment

Skywatcher MN190
Asi2600mc pro
Askar OAG with asi174mm mini
Askar filter drawer
Askar 6nm D1 and D2 filter set

Pixinsight processing
WBPP all images with autocrop
D1 red as Ha, D2 red as Sii
Integrated blues and greens for Oiii
Linear fit to Sii, channel combination as SHO
ABE, background neutralization, and color calibration
BlurX, NoiseX, and EZ soft stretch
StarX, then curves on just the stars for saturation
Curves on the nebula for saturation and hue adjustment (not much required since it was linear fit)
Saved both as tif for recombine in photoshop

Photoshop processing
Camea raw filter for some color noise, regular noise, and some final tweaks on levels
Copied stars and pasted onto starless with screen blending, flattened the image and saved
Mobile lightroom for final crops and jpg export.

Submitted The date and time when you submitted this image for IOTD/TP consideration.	...
Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
