Saying goodbye to summer Milky way at Lago del Predil in Italy.
I missed this. Many months have passed since I've been under the stars like this - mainly due to weather. And it was a close call this time too. I had plans for the Perseide meteor shower peak on the evening of 11th of August, but the forecast was not promising, although it was of course perfectly clear when night came
. The following Monday offered mixed feelings about the forecast again, but I took my chances and I was able to get at least one image and it was a nice reminder why I love doing this. Exactly what I needed

I also made a mistake and got one bad frame with trailing, which you can see below the North America nebula
