Description

NGC 6752, a.k.a Cadwell 93 or Great Peacock Globular. Fourth brightest and one of the most closest globular cluster in the sky ~13000 light-years away in Pavo. The core region is densely populated with stars around 1.3 light-years in diameter, indicating it has undergone core collapse. Its age has been calculated to be ~11.78 billion years old, containing many binary stars and blue stragglers.

LRGB 6h 15m (18:20:18:19x300s) from CHI-1, a Planewave CDK24 with QHY600M camera, and Astrodon 2nd GEN LRGB filters, situated in the Rio Hurtado Valley, Chile. Part of the telescope.live telescope network. Taken on multiple dates in Sep 2023.
