I have always been interested in things astronomical but only joined my first Astronomical Society in January 2014 , The Orpington Astronomy Society and fell down the rabbit hole and haven't come out. They are a great bunch of people and very helpful in things astronomical et al. I developed a close friendship with Carastro who has become my Yodaess , and have learned most of what i know now from her. My first kit was purchased(Thanks to a PPI refund) in March 2017 from Bern at Modern Astronomy which consisted of a DSLR , a Skywatcher120p and an EQ6R Pro , i only have the mount now and is still going strong and can guide to within half an ARC-Second with a guide scope. i got my next scope at Kelling in November 2018 on the Sales area and found a slightly used Altair Astro ED66 r , although hard to focus turned out to be a great scope piggy backed on the Skywatcher 120. So we get to July 2020 and i had seen this wonder petzval Quadruplet scope and had funds available so managed to buy a William Optics Redcat51 v2 and have never looked back , i sold the Skywatcher 120p which more than paid for the Redcat. Now up to date and i dual rig the redcat & Atik460 mono with filters LRGB Ha Oiii Sii next to the Altair Astro ED66r & Qhy183c colour OSC with a Altair astro Triband filter. I have recently dabbled with the Paton Hawksley Star Analyser 200 on the ED66r and Spectroscopy.
