In the summer where I live, the astronomical night doesn't exist at all, and I spend my time planning road trips and enjoying top-down sunset cruises with my NA Miata. But, once winter comes, and the long nights arrive and it's time to put the Miata away, I switch into full-time astrophotography mode, and it's back to the hour long road trips to the Bortle 3 site!
