I am retired, living in Asheville, North Carolina USA. I have been active in astronomy for about 25 years but most of that time has been observational with a 12 inch DOB. I tried imaging about 20 years ago but found it to be too difficult and expensive. However, I got back into imaging about 2 years ago because of the vast improvements in equipment and how much easier it is today. I have been imaging with a Esprit 100 on a CEM 40 ec with a ZWO ASI 071 MC Pro. But I have had very little success due to the extremely poor skies in Western NC. I have now set up a remotely hosted scope at PixelSkies in Castillejar, Spain. My equipment is an Esprit 150 on a 10 Micron gm1000 with a ZWO ASI2600 mm pro. I will be using Voyager to control everything from my home. This is quite a step up for me and I'm really excited about it. Hope to have images to post soon.
