Description

The "Summer Triangle" are the three bright stars that bracket the Milky Way in the area of the constellation Cygnus the Swan a.k.a. the Northern Cross. They are Vega (top middle), Deneb (left), and Altair (right).

Elephant Trunk Nebula - top left
North America Nebula - bottom left
Sadr Region - top right
Cygnus Loop / Veil Nebula - bottom right

This composite represents my collective work in May, July, August, and September 2021. I've been enjoying the new RedCat/Triad Ultra combo, perfect for wide field nebulae like these. That was my go-to rig for most of 2021.

The nebulae photos were all taken in my bortle 6 backyard in central Ohio. The Milky Way was a trip to a bortle 3 blue zone (nearly bortle 2) skies in northeastern Kentucky.

All shots with a modified Canon 6D
All stacking in AstroPixel Processor
