The Trifid Nebula is a very pretty and wonderful subject to photograph. However, in the area where I live, the altitude is very low and it is not easy to take pictures because of light pollution. I drove about 3 hours to the southeast to find a place with dark skies and clear visibility. It's the first time I've taken astrophotography in three years. On the first day, I filmed the L channel, and the next day, the R, G, and B channels. Unfortunately, the clouds rolled in and we were unable to gather enough data. It was a pleasant experience nonetheless.
