Description

M95, a.k.a NGC 3351, a barred spiral galaxy of type SB(r)b in Leo ~33 million light-years away. One of the M96 group of galaxies, one of the many groups of Virgo supercluster. The ring around the center is a circumnuclear star-forming region ~2,000 light-years wide.

LRGB 6h 40min (4x600x10)  from SPA-2 an Officina Stellare 700 RC telescope, with FLI PL16803 camera and Astrodon LRGB 2GEN filters on an Officina Stellare equatorial fork mount with absolute encoders and direct drives. Situated in Oria, Spain. Part of telescope.live telescope network. Taken on multiple dates Dec 2021 - Feb 2022.
