Description

An elongated planetary nebula.  It has a size of 1.75 x 0.8 arc minutes.
It was first discovered in 1995 as part of a search for dwarf galaxies (Visual search for galaxies near the northern crossing of the Supergalactic Plane by the Milky Way).
In 2000 it was included in the Karachentsev list of candidate dwarf galaxies, designated as KK 26.
However later that year it was concluded that KK26 is not a dwarf galaxy, but a Galactic bipolar planetary nebula (An Emission Line Survey of Nearby Dwarf Galaxy Candidates)
