Description

When starting out in this avocation 3 years ago, this was the second target I imaged.  I still remember the joyful shock when I first stacked in DDS and thinking what have I gotten myself into 😀.   I have to admit that joy was the same when I stacked the subs for this attempt 3 years later.   I actually took 180 sec, 120 sec and 60 sec subs thinking of using HDRcomposition, but after see the 60sec and 120sec masters I stacked only these and went straight to processing.   This is work in progress, but I may not do better so posting.   I think I'll put my reducer on to get more of the outward dust lanes.  Lots of satellite trails in this area of course; used some more aggressive settings in APP to remove.  This target is worth more than one try at it (and year after year).  Captured at Chuchupate which is on the way up to Mt Pinos which was closed due to snow.  Chuchupate is at 5,700.  This night SQM ranged from 20.75 to 21.14.  Seeing was not great, guiding between 1 and 0.7 RMS.
