Description

NGC 4449 is an irregular Megellanic-type galaxy, located about 13 million light-years from Earth in Canes Venatici. (-NASA / Wikipedia)

Surprisingly, it doesn't seem to be imaged very often. Its apparent size it quite small, but it was brighter than I expected. I thought the broadband version of it looked great (mostly blue in color), but decided to add a night of dual-narrowband filter data to highlight the H-alpha regions.
