Description

I have never really seen anyone attempt this color palette since it's kind of wack. I never really liked the rainbow colors of SHO or any other narrowband combo, although I did like Hubble's teal take on the image.

My first problem came when I saw the filters. Oi, Sii, Oiii. Unless Antlia has been looking after people who want to image in this wavelength, Oi doesn't exist on the amateur market. I had to get a little creative. Obviously I had Sii and Oiii, but Oi being absent I had to find a similar filter, which you'd think would be red (631nm for Oi) but I didn't want interference in the tendrils of M1 in the red channel. Blue would also be problematic by interfering with some bright parts of Oiiis signal. Green, I hate green because of how weird the color is, but it was the best candidate because it had mostly inner-detail rather than tendrils. Had to mix colors around in photoshop after stretching in Pix, but I got it pretty close. The final palette was (R)Oiii+(G)Sii+(B)Green
