Messier 33: Capturing the Splendor of the TriangulumFour of us recently completed a stunningly detailed imaging of the Messier 33 (Triangulum) galaxy. Over 47 hours of RGB and Hydrogen Alpha data, we were able to create a truly remarkable image that captures the beauty and complexity of this distant galaxy. Our efforts demonstrate the power of collaboration and the dedication of each of the four of us. We are proud of the work we accomplished and are excited to share the results with the astronomical community.
Four different telescope-setups were used, each equipped with either cooled mono-cameras, cooled OSC-cameras or DSLRs. This included the Sharpstar 61 EDPH, Sky-Watcher Evolux 80ED, William Optics Redcat 51 and William Optics ZenithStar 61. This project captured both RGB and hydrogen alpha-data from the galaxy, allowing for a detailed view of the star formation regions and other interesting features.
