Description

While imaging my primary target of M76, I split my time with another exceptionally small target for my EdgeHD 8. NGC 1501 is a complex planetary nebula located in the constellation of Camelopardalis, it was discovered on the 27th August 1787 by William Herschel. It is also known as the Oyster Nebula.

This is a bit of a stretch for the EdgeHD 8. A huge crop was used so that the nebula wasn't swallowed up in the sea of black. A bit of detail was sacrificed but I'm still happy with how the HD8 manages to pull in challenging targets.
