I thought RF lenses can't be connected to astronomic cameras due to the needed backfocus and focus-by-wire mechanism where focus ring is not mechanical. However, I've seen some pictures with this lens and the 2600mc camera. How are they connected?

RF cameras/lens have a 20mm backfocus which is enough to have an adaptor made to fit most astrocameras.

As for most of other lens it is manual. As for attaching it I guess you can hack the lens flange or make your custom adaptor. Maybe someone like these guys: https://astromechanics.org/ |
