Hope it's ok to ask here.

How do I rate my light frames? Once I do, how do I decide the cutoff point?

At the moment I use dss to give a score. Is this score relative to the session or across all of the sessions?
also in siril the plot graph. Frames under the line should be rejected?
Is it even possible to rate the snr of my lights?

When I am imaging, a low hfr in Nina image pane suggests a higher quality generally?

I would suggest using your eyes to determine whether something is good enough to include. Scores or HFR can help you organize images, but relying solely on them to judge image quality can be risky.

Rating light frames is part of the journey toward better astrophotography. Using DSS for scoring is a solid approach, and the score usually applies to each session, guiding your frame selection for stacking.

will carry on as usual then, ty
