YES!! I found out my default guide rate is is "0.5x sidereal" it had nothing to do with the slew rate, which I was talking about before |

interesting. so I did: 2 x 0.82 [arcsec per pixel resolution] = 1.64 1.64 / 15 [sidereal rate] x 0.5 [guide rate] = 0.054 1000 x 0.054 = 54 Does that sound right? Just 54ms calibration step size? |

@messierman3000 please do us a favor and don't spam so many messages about every thought you have. Concerning your questions: interesting. You forgot the brackets, so it's (2 * 0.82) / [b]([/b]15 * 0.5[b])[/b] * 1000 = 218 ms. if that's correct, that still doesn't tell me what max RA and DEC duration to use You shouldn't really have to change that, just set it to default or about 2000-2500ms.
